The SGI® Altix® 450 mid-range server offers global shared memory in configurations of 2 to 38 Intel® Itanium® microprocessors, and is an advanced blade server for departmental, database, and throughput cluster applications.

The SGI® Altix® 4700 blade-based supercomputer supports globally addressable memory across multiple nodes, scaling to hundreds of Intel Itanium sockets. Altix 4700 is ideal for the most complex HPC problems, enabling innovation without limits for technical users.
